  • What is coaching, and how can it be helpful?

Think of a coach as someone who is holding a mirror in front of you, and who may use a flashlight to point things out and help you navigate your inner journey.
Coaching is a powerful way to identify the path you want to be on and to help you get there—whether that's in your career, relationships, or personal growth. You are a whole, resourceful individual, and coaching is here to help you tap into that innate potential.

  • What is the difference between coaching, therapy, and mentoring?

There are key distinctions between them. In therapy, there's a hierarchy in the relationship—your therapist holds knowledge that you don’t yet have, and sessions often focus on exploring the past and healing.

Mentoring, on the other hand, is based on guidance from someone with experience in a specific area, who provides advice and shares their expertise.

Coaching is different because it operates on the principle that you are a whole, resourceful, and capable individual who already has the answers within you. As your coach, I won’t give you advice but will support you in discovering your own insights and solutions.   • How does coaching work in practice?

In coaching, the sessions are led by you. I will ask you powerful, open-ended questions that invite deep reflection, and we’ll explore insights that arise. The focus is on where you are now, where you want to go, and how to bridge the gap. Through our sessions, we’ll look at strategies to help you move forward, taking actionable steps to achieve your goals. The coaching relationship is built on trust, openness, and mutual respect.

 

  • How long will it take for me to see results?

The timeline varies depending on your goals and where you are in the process. However, many clients begin to experience shifts within the first few sessions. The pace is entirely up to you, but coaching is a process that works best when you actively engage in the work and follow through with the action steps we explore together.

 

  • What can I expect from a coaching session?

Each session is a safe, supportive space where we’ll explore your challenges and opportunities. You choose the agenda for each session—what we focus on is entirely up to you. As your coach, I can help you clarify what feels most important, but ultimately, you hold the agenda.

You can expect a dynamic conversation focused on your growth, where you will be empowered to take responsibility and make choices aligned with your values. I will provide feedback, reflection, and challenge you where necessary to deepen your self-awareness and accelerate your progress.

  • What if I don’t know what I want to work on in coaching?

That’s okay! Many clients come to coaching without a clear idea of what they want to focus on. Coaching is a process that helps you explore what's important to you and uncover the areas of your life where you want to create change. Through our sessions, you’ll gain clarity on your goals and the steps needed to pursue them.
